Halifax Garden

Inspired by a woodland edge found around Halifax, this garden transforms the existing lawn into a wildlife haven full of beautiful naturalistic planting and spaces to relax.

On-site we found old gate posts and York stone pavers which we re-used to define the different seating areas and stepping stones through the planting.

The planting towards the house is an imagined woodland glade - full of bright, colourful and airy planting. As you move towards the back of the garden the planting emulates a deep woodland setting with a tapestry of greens and textures. 3 bespoke water troughs and an oak pergola create the structures in the garden.
