Pike Studio have a wide range of experience in landscape architecture and garden design.
We work at all scales from small, intimate spaces in cities, roof gardens, large country gardens, commercial campus and more.
With all our projects, we work to a staged approach to ensure our clients are happy and feel comfortable with the direction the design is going, at all moments along the journey. We work within the RIBA / Landscape Institute stages of work to provide a framework.
We will work with the client to create a timescale that suits them and carefully guide them through all the stages, from the initial consultation to guiding through the build of the landscape.

An initial meeting with the client on-site ensures we fully understand the landscape and the client’s aspirations.
We will identify opportunities and also any potential constraints or planning requirements that may be required as well as establishing desired timescales.
We can commission on the clients behalf any topographical survey (where necessary) of existing site including landform, plants, buildings, structures and utilities.

We will create sketches and ideas on how the space is formed and relates to its surroundings.
Drafting design options to include illustrations often using various media and hand rendering, an initial materials mood-board with plans and 3D sketch views.
We will have meetings with the client to present and discuss concepts, project timescales and outline budgets.

We will create a package of drawings including hard layout, final material palettes, plant palettes and fully rendered 3D visualisations.
A fully priced technical package will be provided and we will assist the client in acquiring the correct landscape contractor for the job.

Now begins the physical creation of the vision.
We will coordinate all necessary 3rd parties in the creation of your project, and monitor the build activities, contractors, and suppliers with regular site visits and progress inspections.
Once the landscape has been completed we can provide a maintenance plan for you or your gardener to manage and evolve the space over time. We often like to make return visits to ensure that the client is happy with the way the space is growing.
