About
Pike Studio is an award-winning design studio which was established by landscape architect, Ollie Pike, in 2023. Based in Sheffield, Yorkshire, we work across England and Wales.
At Pike Studio, we want to create spaces that can form connections between people, place, and nature. Our work is rich in form and character with a focus on responding to the surrounding landscape and architecture. We bring an analytical design approach to help both us and client achieve the best design possible.
Our Story
We are an innovative design practice with our director Ollie Pike having recently been selected as one of the RHS Young Designer’s of the Year in 2023 and part of Garden’s Illustrated “One’s to Watch 2024”. Also winning Best in Show, a Gold Medal and the RHS Environmental Innovation Award at RHS Tatton Park in July 2024 and an RHS Gold Medal at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2026.
Pike Studio is a Yorkshire based business and we hope we can bring full satisfaction with our award-winning landscape designs. We aim to create forward-thinking landscapes. We believe that landscapes and gardens can tell stories and offer meaningful experiences for all people. For us, it is the power of the stories that landscapes and gardens can tell as well as the sanctuaries they can provide that motivates us.
We are also passionate about supporting our clients with creating ethical and environmentally beneficial landscapes by providing innovative approaches to adapting and mitigating today’s biggest issues in nature. We aim to ensure that at least 50% of all our projects at any-one-time are Landscapes for Change.
Our Team
Ollie Pike
Director and Landscape ArchitectOllie set up Pike Studio to create spaces for good causes, and is passionate about promoting nature access and its benefits.
He first studied Landscape Architecture with Planning at Sheffield University, and this is where he developed his passion for design and is now a returning tutor for Planting Design.
He went on to work for one of the leading landscape and garden design practices in the UK working on a large variety of projects in the UK and across Europe, such as high-end residential gardens in London and Geneva, and a large multi-award winning campus- redevelopment in Berlin.
Ollie set up his own practice, Pike Studio, in 2023 as a place to work on both public and private projects of all scales and sizes with a particular focus on improving people’s access to nature and heritage. Projects so far have included show gardens, cemeteries, community spaces, private gardens and large scale masterplanning on heritage sites.

Our Awards
Since Pike Studio’s inception in 2023 we have been fortunate to win a number of awards for our ambitious and innovative designs. Ollie Pike has also been awarded personally for his achievements - particularly as a young, up-and-coming designer in the industry.
